Undergraduate Program in Accounting
Head of the Program: Prof. Joseph Aharony
Recanati's Accounting Program is an undergraduate program that prepares its students for a professional career in the financial sector. The Program provides students with the professional training required of CPAs and finance professionals. The Program introduces students to the theoretical foundations of finance and accounting and provides them with professional skills at five principal domains: Accountancy, Financial Auditing, Management Sciences, Law & Statute, and Taxation. An optional fourth year of operational courses prepares students to meet the requirements of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel (ICPAS) and start their internship as CPAs.
Recanati's Accounting Program is noted for the success rates of its students in the official examinations held as part of the licensing process required of Israeli CPAs. The Program's alumni hold key executive and professional positions at leading financial institutions, such as PwC, Ernst & Young, KPMG and Deloitte, and serve as CFOs at a variety of corporations and professional sectors.
