Professional Clubs and Forums
The Association is active in promoting student-alumni interfaces and in establishing professional clubs and forums in addition to the Coffee @ Recanati Networking Events, The Mentoring Program and The Business Debating Club. We create and manage effective student-alumni networks that serve to enhance the sense of community within both groups:
The Business Debating Club
A unique club aimed at businesspeople and managers. The club is meant to help graduates and their colleagues develop their powers of persuasion and rhetoric competency in both professional and personal contexts.
The goal is twofold: provide tools and skills from the field of competitive academic debate while facilitating their application and integration into the business environment in which the club members operate. Instructing the club are academic debate world champions and leading business and communication experts.
Recanati’s Mobile Applications Forum
This forum introduces experts and new tendencies in the field of mobile application as part of a joint initiative of the Alumni Association, alumni and students from the MBA in Management of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Innovation program. The RMAF is aimed at businesspeople, entrepreneurs, managers, marketers and product developers seeking to expand their knowledge of the mobile applications world and the Israeli high-tech industry.
Co-initiated Training Programs and Business Development Opportunities
The Recanati Alumni Association is establishing a broad range of programs in collaboration with its alumni. You are welcome to a taste two of those which were held lately:
- Understanding Business China. The series was initiated by the Recanati Alumni Association together with alumna Ms. Iris Arbel, (MBA, 1997), an economic adviser to local governments in China, previously CEO of Kardan Water and former Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of Israel in Beijing. The program targets Recanati alumni, graduate students and friends of the school - all businesspeople, founders, and top managers in export and import companies who strive, on a daily basis, to understand the complex Chinese market, penetrate it, and of course, succeed in it.

- Managing a Project Portfolio and Project Managers. Initiated by the Recanati Alumni Association together with alumna Galit Yaskerevitz-Tietz, PMP, (Management, 1995 cum laude, and MBA, 2000), the series is aimed at project-managing executives (VPs of Development, Delivery Managers, CIOs, and others) who wish to evaluated the close relationship between project results and organizational performance, to understand how they might better employ the limited organizational resources to advance organizational goals through structured project management and to realize whether they are optimally managing projects given the frequent changes transpiring in their organizations. The keynote speaker of the first meeting was Mr. Ofer Segev, CEO of Ness Technologies.
