Career Management Center

The Career Management Center’s (CMC) mission is to help future graduates build and develop their career management skills through various MBA career resources. The CMC will guide you through every stage of your job-search process in order to advance your ability to drive the venture called “you.” The CMC at the Coller School of Management aids students and alumni in creating and implementing a unique career development strategy.

 

 

 

Career Management Workshops

The CMC works to complement the business tools Sofaer students acquire through the course of their academic studies. Students are equipped with the required training necessary to best prepare for managing a successful career search in today’s dynamic labor market. The class covers each stage of the career management process and combines lectures, workshops, small group break-out sessions, and individual training (aka “speed sessions”).

Tailor-made workshops are held on the following topics:

  • Networking Your Way to Success
  • Preparing for a Job Interview
  • Creating Professional Social Media Brands

Prof. Jonathan Smilansky

Academic Director, Career Management Center

In addition to his role at the Coller Career Management Center, Jonathan works with senior executives in Israel, the UK and the United States on the development of talent management practices and the assessment of executive capability and potential. Jonathan also teaches human resource management in several programs at the School, including the Sofaer GMBA.

Jonathan spent an extensive period of time working in the UK and the United States. He was the Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources at the Universal Music Group (New York) as well as the Head of International Human Resources at Forte/Meridian Hotels and Resorts (London).

Jonathan led the Internal Services Division at Visa International EMEA (London) and was a partner at Hay Management Consultants.

Yael Zaidberg

Director, Career Development & Consulting, Career Management Center

Yael Zaidberg joined the GMBA Career Management Center from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology where she researched entrepreneurial teams and entrepreneurial accelerators. Additionally, she worked with MBA students as a teaching assistant at the Technion MBA.

Prior to joining the Technion, Yael worked in the fields of assessment, recruitment and counseling. She was a diagnostician and a consultant at Adam Milo HR & Consulting, where she led diagnostic and screening process for potential candidates in various industries. In addition, she guided managers through the recruitment process.

Ortal Lev

Director, Career Development & Consulting, Career Management Center

Ortal Lev joined the GMBA Career Management Center with many years of experience in Human Resources, consulting and recruiting.

Prior to joining the GMBA Career Management Center, Ortal managed the Career Center at Bar Ilan University, where she provided personal guidance for the students, including workshops, lectures and personal career consulting. 

In addition, Ortal worked as an HR specialist at one of the leading Law firms in Tel Aviv and managed a recruitment team at a placement company.

During her military service, Ortal served as a Psychotechnical diagnostician where she led diagnostic and screening processes for potential candidates for the military service and the Air Force.
