Message from Dean Prof. Moshe Zviran
>> For over 50 years, Tel Aviv University's School of Management has set the bar for business education in Israel. In 2014 we were ranked #11 among the Top 50 MBA's for VC-Backed Entrepreneurs and garnered the #1 spot in the "Rest of the World" category by PitchBook, and were awarded 5 Palms of Excellence from Eduniversal, the organization's highest rating for "universal business schools with strong global influence."
Each year more than 3,000 students turn to us for a state-of-the art education in all aspects of management. Our School has 60 tenured and tenure-track faculty and over 200 adjuncts. Our instructors, many of whom are leading researchers in their field, also teach at world-class schools including The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, Cornell University, Berkley University, NYU, University of Michigan, London Business School, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and others. Our professors help enrich our students’ learning experience by leveraging the most up-to-date instructional resources and methods.
As the Dean since July 2014, I am excited to assume responsibility over the Sofaer International MBA, a program that has had a profound impact on our Business School since its founding 8 years ago.
In addition to recruiting approximately 50 students from 16 countries, the Sofaer IMBA has accelerated the internationalization of the School of Management by hosting an array of international professors, forging shared courses and international study tours with partner-schools abroad, launching our international case competition, and building the foundation of our Career Management Center, the first of its kind in Israel.
Under my leadership, the School and the Sofaer IMBA are pivoting to focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. The Sofaer IMBA is designed for venture founders, start-up builders, and company innovators and will be working in concert with our Hebrew MBA in the Management of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MoTIE), a program I had the privilege of founding eight years ago.
As a successful entrepreneur, I know what it takes to build companies of enduring worth and to provide an internationally competitive value proposition. I am confident that the synergy between the legacy of the Sofaer IMBA in delivering outstanding education to international students and the position of MoTIE as Israel's leading MBA in technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation will result in an exceptional program.
If you are adventurous, entrepreneurial, creative, driven and seeking an MBA that will fast forward your career, I encourage you to connect with us today.
Welcome to the Sofaer International MBA.
Prof. Moshe Zviran
Dean of The Coller School of Management
