This week (Oct 16-18) the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University is hosting the Partnership in International Management (PIM) Conference attended by deans, academic staff and senior faculty of leading business schools from all over the world.

This is the first time that the Partnership in International Management (PIM) Conference is being hosted in Israel, with about 100 people in attendance. The School of Management at Tel Aviv University is the only Israeli member of PIM, which includes 63 business schools.

PIM assists in the development of international cooperation, joint programs, student and staff exchange, joint research, and cooperation between faculty and researchers.

In light of the cooperation and as part of the international relations in the PIM organization, the School has student exchange agreements with leading schools that are members of the organization. As a result, the School can offer BA and MBA students the opportunity to study a semester abroad as part of their studies. In return, students from leading universities around the world come and study throughout the year at the School of Management in Tel Aviv.

According to Prof. Moshe Zviran, Dean of the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University, “before the start of the school year next week, we are hosting a unique international conference attended by senior executives from all over the world. This is an opportunity for us to hold a rich and diverse brainstorming session on the topics currently relevant to management, in a global, dynamic, and changing world and to enjoy international cooperation.

Zviran explained that “membership in the organization allows us to conduct an extensive exchange of students with business schools around the world. In addition to in-depth academics, we provide the students with a unique experience as part of an exchange semester abroad. This significant experience influences their outlook as managers in the business world in the international arena.

The conference members will be acquainted with the fields of hi-tech management, entrepreneurship and innovation in Israel, which are an inseparable part of the School of Management’s field of study.
