The Recanati Alumni Association operates not only in Israel but also overseas through its chapters abroad- in Boston, Chicago, New-York, Silicon Valley and Melbourne and establishes. It continuously seeks to establish and develop international cooperation between the Recanati Business School and top universities and business schools around the world through their alumni associations and clubs.

The Association's Chapter in Boston, U.S.A.


The Presidents of the Boston Chapter are Dr. Ariel Markelevich, (M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting, 1998), and Dr. Hagit Weihs, (MBA, 1995 and Ph.D., 2005).

After graduation, Ariel started his Ph.D. at CUNY – Baruch College and graduated in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting at Suffolk University in Boston. During her Ph.D. studies at Recanati, Hagit moved to Boston as a visiting fellow at Harvard Business School. She is currently an Accounting professor at the International Business School of Brandeis University.

"As presidents, we act in order to create a community of all of the school's alumni who moved or seek for more business opportunities in the Boston area- both in a professional level personal one. Our main aim is to work towards creating a community which will work with cooperation with its members towards increasing international recognition of the Recanati school, its programs and its alumni".
