The IMBA Internship Program

The IMBA Internship

From NICE Systems to the accelerator program of the elite Israeli intelligence unit 8200 >>

Whether you are interested in moving forward in your current professional track or pivoting in a new direction, internships provide invaluable experience to expand skills, leverage knowledge, and increase professional networks.  IMBA students have the opportunity to take on an internship for academic credit or as a paid intern.  While the vast majority of internships are sourced by the IMBA Career Management Center, many of our students ignite their own internship opportunities via the contacts they make during the course of the program.

The IMBA offers two types of internships:

  • Academic Internship – The vast majority of internships advertised through the IMBA Career Management Center are Academic Internships, meaning students receive academic credit in compensation for their work.
  • Paid Internship – Where the companies offer a monetary structure (compensation, salary, etc.).  Students do not receive credit for this option.  Generally speaking, paid internships are not managed or screened by the IMBA CMC.  Additionally, to receive financial compensation in Israel, foreign students must hold valid work-visas.
