The Sofaer International MBA and Tel Aviv University's School of Management has updated its policy regarding GMAT/GRE waivers. Students meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for a GMAT/GRE waiver:
- 1st degree with a final GPA/average over 90% in the following areas of study: engineering, exact sciences, and neuroscience.
- 2nd degree in a highly quantitiative area of study
Requests are to be submitted to IMBA Admissions Manager Michal Reuveni via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Electronic Academic transcripts must be included in an applicants GMAT/GRE waiver request.
Please note: applicants who have a juris doctor in law (JD) will be required to write the GMAT or GRE exam.
The Sofaer International MBA application may or may not include a personal interview. Applicants will received notification of whether they have passed to the interview round or have been directly accepted to the program within 2-4 weeks of the corresponding application deadline or less than 1 week in the case of Rolling Applications. The Admissions Committee also reserves the right to request a 2nd interview.
Additional Application Material
In addition to the application items outlined in the Applicant Checklist, the Admissions Committee may in rare cases also request additional items from an applicant such as a case analysis, essay, or as noted above, personal interview. In some circumstances, an applicant may also be asked to consider re-writing the GMAT/GRE Exam.
