Career Management Center

Become a venture builder, startup founder or company innovator

The Career Management Center’s (CMC) mission is to help future graduates build and develop their career management skills through various MBA career resources. The CMC will guide you through every stage of your job-search process in order to advance your ability to drive the venture called “you.” The CMC at the Coller School of Management aids students and alumni in creating and implementing a unique career development strategy.

Career Management Workshops

The CMC works to complement the business tools Sofaer students acquire through the course of their academic studies. Students are equipped with the required training necessary to best prepare for managing a successful career search in today’s dynamic labor market. The class covers each stage of the career management process and combines lectures, workshops, small group break-out sessions, and individual training (aka “speed sessions”).

Tailor-made workshops are held on the following topics:

  • Managing Your Career in a Complex Work Environment
  • ‘Selling’ Your Competitive Advantage/Added Value
  • Networking Your Way to Success
  • Preparing for a Job Interview
  • Creating Professional Social Media Brands
  • Writing a ‘Killer’ Resume and Cover Letter
  • Reviewing Salary Negotiation and Offers

Networking and Recruitment Events

The CMC holds events and fairs aimed at connecting and exposing our students to key players in a wide range of business sectors. These events include:

  • Company Recruiting
  • Meet the Recruiter
