Peter A. Bamberger is Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at Tel Aviv University’s School of Management, Research Director of Cornell University’s Smithers Institute, and founding Associate Editor of Academy of Management Discoveries.


He is also Representative at Large on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Management.


His current research interests include peer relations and helping processes, occupational health psychology, and compensation strategy.


Peter has published over 100 refereed journal articles and books chapters, as well as several books including Human Resource Strategy (Routledge, 2014), and Retirement & the Hidden Epidemic: The Complex Link Between Aging, Work Disengagement and Substance Misuse…and What to Do About It (Oxford Univ. Press, 2014). He received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Cornell University in 1990.
