The Studio for Entrepreneurs

Thuong (Vietnam); Ariel (Israel); Nina (USA) | Class of 2014

The MBA program provides tools and knowledge via its courses and internship programs; exposure and contacts via its networking, guest lecture and mentoring programs; and orientation to, and support in, looking for a job via the Career Management Center (CMC).

For entrepreneurs, however, the above mentioned resources and services are often not enough. The entrepreneurial process is full of unexpected hindrances which can cause many people to give up before their dreams are realized.

The goal of The Studio for Entrepreneurs is to guide entrepreneurial students through a personal process of self-discovery in order to locate their true passion and the barriers that can inhibit its pursuit.   Participants will discover hidden weakness and how to keep progressing with enthusiasm when it seems things are falling apart.  Participants will face experiences that emerge during an entrepreneurial journey (theirs or others) to develop the ability to cope with difficulties and improve capabilities to recover from them. In addition, they will learn how to use chaos and uncertainty to their advantage.

To move things from theory to practice, The Studio is delivered as a practical workshop and runs over a 3 month period.  It includes 8 group meetings and 8 personal and team coaching sessions.

For those who choose to embark upon its journey, The Studio often becomes a pillar of their MBA experience.
