MBA in Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE)

Head of Program: Dr. Iris Ginzburg
Academic Director: Prof. Moshe Zviran

The Management of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MoTIE) is a 2-year part-time MBA run in Hebrew for entrepreneurially-minded professionals from tech-oriented industries.

MoTIE complements the Faculty of Management's core curriculum with a focused education in entrepreneurship, innovation and technological management.  Advanced topics taught largely by industry experts include entrepreneurship in practice, product development in the digital economy, global marketing of consumer products, risk management in the cyber world, R&D management, and design thinking.

Students progress through the program as a cohort.  Teamwork, case studies and hands-on projects are fundamental to the program's teaching methodology.

As of the 2015/16 academic year, MoTIE will be working closely with the Faculty of Management's Sofaer International MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, a 1-year full-time program run in English that attracts roughly 50 students from 16 counties every year.  This convergence will benefit students from both programs.  Students will benefit from more joint courses, increased internship and international exchange opportunities, and broader opportunities for international and Israeli students to learn from each other's diverse set of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.
