Step 4: Standardized Exams

The Sofaer International MBA application requires the complete GMAT or GRE exam.  Applicants should upload unofficial exam scores to the online application system and have scores automatically sent to the IMBA Admission office.

GMAT/GRE Waivers
The Sofaer International MBA and Tel Aviv University's School of Management has updated its policy regarding GMAT/GRE waivers.  Students meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for a GMAT/GRE waiver:

  • 1st degree with a final GPA/average over 90% in the following areas of study: engineering, exact sciences, and neuroscience.  
  • 2nd degree in a highly quantitiative area of study   
  • ​PhD

Requests are to be submitted to IMBA Recruiting Manager Paula Caplan via email (  Electronic Academic transcripts must be included in an applicants GMAT/GRE waiver request.

Please note: applicants who have a juris doctor in law (JD) will be required to write the GMAT or GRE exam.
