Founded in 1956, Tel Aviv University is Israel’s largest academic institution. A major center of teaching and research, it comprises nine faculties, 125 departments, and 130 research institutes. There are currently around 30,000 students studying at the university in various degree programs, Including 14,000 Master’s and PhD candidates.
