Uriya Shavit is the Head of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Religious Studies Program at Tel Aviv University.
Specializes in the study of Muslim minorities and democratization processes. Author of five books and 20 articles in these fields.

 

 

 

Izhar Shay

Izhar Shay is a Managing General Partner with Canaan Partners Israel. Izhar focuses on investments in Mobile, Digital Media, Internet, Communications and Software. He is a board member at Drupe, RegulusX Cyber, Rollout.io, Algomizer (TASE: Algomizer), Viewbix and LiveU, and until recently he was a board member at Prime Sense, which was acquired by Apple, and N-trig, acquired by Microsoft. With more than 25 years of operational experience as a successful entrepreneur, Izhar was previously Chairman and CEO of V-Secure Technologies, and CEO and co-founder of Business Layers. Both companies made successful exits under Izhar’s management. Izhar writes a weekly column in Globes, Israel’s leading financial newspaper and has authored two books. He is the founder of “Start-Up Stadium”, the largest on-line community for high-tech entrepreneurs in Israel.

 

Izhar was selected recently by Geektime as one of the top 100 influential personalities in the Israeli high-tech arena. He is also the founder of “High-Tech Ba’Pkakim”, a weekly radio and Facebook Live show that he anchors, which covers the Israeli high-tech scene, with tens of thousands of weekly followers.

 

Dr. Gil Winch

Dr. Winch is an organizational consultant and social entrepreneur. In 2000 he founded Tandem Consultants, an organizational consulting company, and in 2008 he founded Call Yachol, Israel’s largest social business. For the past 18 months he has served as the personal consultant (organizational) to the Israeli Chief of Police.

In 2011 Dr. Winch was chosen as one of the 100 most influential people in the Israeli economy by the largest financial newspaper in Israel (The Marker).

Dr. Winch earned a BA (Special Education and Psychology), MA (Clinical Psychology) and Ph.D. (Psychology) from Tel Aviv University, all with honors.
