The Center supports research aimed developing novel ways to advance new business capabilities through the use of big data, such as the following:
- The challenge of constructing precise data from big data
- The impact that huge data banks have on the business environment, for example, incentives for dialogue and compatibility between competitors
- Techniques in which sophisticated algorithms can improve sales forecasting accuracy
- The effect of real-time sales data visualization technologies on sales
To bolster its research breadth and capacity, the Center awards research grants and fellowships for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, as well as support an annual visiting professorship for globally-renowned scholars.
