Lone Soldiers

The Sean Carmeli Fund

The School of Political Science, Government and International has established a fund to support former lone soldiers studying at Tel Aviv University named in memory of Staff Sergeant Sean Carmeli (z"l).

Applications should be submitted in Hebrew or English to the School of Political Science, subject line "להגשת מועמדות למלגה ע"ש שון כרמלי ז"": limorra@tauex.tau.ac.il

 

 

Veterans Affairs

Enrolled graduate students in pre approved VA programs may apply for GI Bill benefits or VA Tuition Assistance. The Certification Form must be completed by the applicant and sent to the Office of Academic Affairs for certification and processing. For a list of approved programs please click here.

 

American Jewish League for Israel -

Offers Jewish American students up to a $1000 scholarship, based on both merit and financial need.

 

 

Israeli Scholarships for New Immigrants

The Sofaer Global MBA is recognized by the Minhal HaStudentim (Student Authority). New immigrants are eligible to receive up to 15% off their tuition.

 

United States Student Loans

U.S. Federal Loans are available to qualifying degree-seeking students through Tel Aviv University’s Office of Academic Affairs in New York. Please contact Phylicia Dunn for details.

 

 

 

MASA

The Jewish Agency for Israel in partnership with the Israeli government is proud to offer a scholarship opportunity entitled MASA ("journey" in Hebrew). MASA scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to Jewish students who want to participate in a long-term program in Israel. Students can apply for a MASA scholarship by completing the application on the MASA website. Upon completion of the application, a PDF file of the application will be sent to you via e-mail. You will need to print the completed application, sign it, and then return the scholarship application to TAU International.

TAU International will then confirm your acceptance to the program and send the application to the Jewish Agency.

 

MFA Scholarships

Ministry of Foreign Affairs – The government of Israel is pleased to offer scholarships for the 2019/2020 school year, to foreign students, as agreed in the Cultural Agreements between Israel and qualified countries (a full list of countries can be viewed on the site). Only citizens of these countries may apply. For more information contact them via their website for details.

 

Israel Study Abroad Scholarship Fund for Hispanic Americans

Study Abroad Scholarship Program for Hispanic Students – The Government of Israel invites students of Hispanic American backgrounds to apply to a new scholarship aimed at bringing students to Israel to study at top universities. The scholarships are designed to expand studying abroad opportunities for full time Undergraduate and Graduate students.

This scholarship aligns with Israel’s mission to establish a cross-cultural bridge between Israelis and Americans of various backgrounds.
