Nelly, from Paris (France) started her professional career in France in 1989. She co-managed the funding program of Dexia Group (EUR 10 billion a year). She spent more than 12 years in different executive positions at Dexia Group.

In 2001, attracted by the personal and professional challenge, she established the Israeli subsidiary of the Dexia Group and served as CFO and Deputy CEO of Dexia Israel from 2001 to 2008 (financing of municipalities & project finance in Israel). Nelly Assouline joined BNP Paribas in Israel in 2010 as a Senior Banker to head the activities of Corporate and Investment Banking.

To optimize her professional and personal integration in Israel, Nelly completed her education with an International Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management and Tel Aviv University (KR10).

This MBA was really helpful to create a professional network in Israel. She enjoyed very much to study in Tel-Aviv and Chicago in the best universities.

Nelly co-created the Association of Foreign Banks in Israel (AFBI) and is Director of various Boards of listed companies on the NASDAQ or Israel.

She is also active in different associations among which Gvahim and AAEGE. She is Board member of GVAHIM which helps new immigrants to integrate professionally in Israel and also of AAEGE (Association of Graduates from French Speaking Universities in Israel).

 "I moved from New York to Israel nine years ago, just three weeks before the start of the KR 10 program. We recruited senior executives and advisors on board, created the first ever Series A/B Mentor Exchange and continue to build upon an extensive world-wide network on both the ‘buy-side’ and ‘sell-side’. We work with premium, vetted start-ups in big data, IoT, smart cities, Internet, fintech, security, edutech and more and several of our clients have been KR classmates! This past May we brought senior executives, financial and strategic investors from New York, Hong Kong, Silicon Valley, France, Russia etc to engage with our Israeli Series A tech showcase.
