More and more enterprises are using business mechanisms to address the most serious challenges to international development. And yet, even successful initiatives at a local level in developing countries often face considerable obstacles when trying to scale their impact nationally or internationally. During this talk we will discuss trends in social entrepreneurship, identify some barriers to scaling, and explore potential solutions.
Pamela Roussos is the Director of Strategic Alliances at the Global Social Benefit Institute at Santa Clara University in the Silicon Valley - a hub for global, innovation-based entrepreneurship in service to humanity.
