Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?
After 7 years of working in a variety of jobs, I realized that I wanted to work in the cleantech industry in finance/managerial role. I’ve been able to gain fantastic experiences and skills in my jobs, but I believed that pursuing an MBA would help push me to the next level.
Why did you choose the Sofaer IMBA?
I wanted to pursue an MBA in Israel in English, and I believe that the Sofaer IMBA is the best such program in Israel. I wanted to study at Tel Aviv University in order to be in the center of the business world in Israel. I loved that the Sofaer program has a small class size, that each student is given personal attention, and that it is a 1-year program so that I would not have to take 2 years off from working.
What excites you most about the program so far?
So far, I love what I’m learning in class and from engaging with my classmates. The teachers are fantastic and seem genuinely passionate in both their fields of expertise and in sharing their knowledge with us. My class has 41 students from 17 countries and everyone has a different story and background. Hearing everyone’s stories and dreams has been enlightening and fascinating.
Do you have anything to add about yourself, your goals, priorities or time commitment that would be relevant to share with applicants?
Through the Sofaer IMBA, we have access to all of the resources of Tel Aviv University and the city of Tel Aviv. There are tons of interesting lectures, workshops, conferences, and events going on all the time. I only wish I had more time so I that I could attend them all!
What professional industry or function are you in interested in pursuing post-MBA?
I would like to work in the cleantech industry.
