Short Biography

Moshe Zviran is a chaired Professor of Information Technology at the Coller School of Management School and served as Dean of the School from 2014 through June 2022.  He is currently the Chief Entrepreneurship and innovation officer of Tel Aviv University and Head of the Bloomberg Sagol Initiative for City Leadership at Tel Aviv University.  He is the incumbent of the Isaac Gilinsky Chair of Entrepreneurship, Technology, Innovation and Management and also serves as the academic director of the Eli Hurvitz Institute for Strategic Management and the Coller Institute of Venture. He received his B.Sc. degree in mathematics and computer science and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in information systems from Tel Aviv University, Israel, in 1979, 1982 and 1988, respectively. He held academic positions at the Naval Postgraduate School, California, the Claremont Graduate University, California, and Ben-Gurion University, Israel. His research interests include entrepreneurship and innovation, information and cyber security and information systems planning and policy. Prof. Zviran has published numerous articles in leading academic journals and authored two books in information systems. He is also a consultant for leading organizations in Israel and abroad and serves as a board member in several companies and organizations.
