About The Institute

The Henry Crown Institute of Business Research in Israel (HC-IBRI) is a non-profit organization under the academic auspices of the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University and supported by direct sponsorship and donations.

The mission of the Institute is to facilitate, support and disseminate research pertaining to management and business administration, with a particular emphasis on issues of relevance to Israel economy and society. The actual research work is carried out under the leadership of senior members of the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University in conjunction with senior researchers from other institutions, graduate students, and other types of research support personnel.


The Institute has two main modes of operation:

Assisting faculty at the Coller School of Management in the application for and administration of research funds from external sources.
Providing direct financial support to research projects initiated by Coller School of Management researchers.

To this effect, the Institute maintains a small team of part-time staff (Head and academic director of the Institute, Executive Director and Research Coordinator) with offices at the Recanati Building at Tel Aviv University campus.

The results of the research carried out within the framework of the Institute are published in a thematic series of working papers:
