A Word from the Dean

 Prof. Dan Amiram

Dear Students, Alumni, Faculty Members and Staff,

Since its establishment in 1965, thanks to the vision and support of the Recanati family, the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University has been considered the leading facility for business studies in Israel.  Made up of the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Adminstration  together with the faculty's undergraduate programs, the Coller School has thousands of students, taught by dozens of faculty member researchers and more than 250 adjunct lecturers.  Together we cover the latest range of subjects in the area of management, conduct cutting edge research and provide our students with the most up-to-date management knowledge and tools.

We strive to excel at expanding the borders of knowledge and research in the world of management, with emphasis on the areas in which Israel’s industry leads internationally, alongside promoting values of entrepreneurship, innovation, social responsibility and lifelong high-quality, up-to-date learning aimed at personal, professional and academic development, within a global perspective.

Alongside core studies in the traditional areas of management such as marketing, finance and accounting, we provide our students with knowledge in all the latest areas in the world of business, such as cybersecurity, fintech, entrepreneurship, big data, digital marketing, strategy and more.  Over the years, through high-quality teaching, we have developed the ability to direct our students to career paths that will be relevant to the workplace as soon as they leave us and begin to exploit their natural potential.

The incubator that we have created nurtures and develops the abilities with which our students arrive at the Faculty and helps them to acquire the set of managerial tools that will enable them to contend with the challenges of a changing reality, changing requirements and the need to be creative and solve complex problems.

Our ongoing success has created our ever-growing alumni network of more than 35,000 alumni who are now holding key positions in all avenues of management in Israel and throughout the world, in the various sectors of the economy.  They form a broad and unique networking array among students and between academic faculty members and alumni, who remain in touch years after they graduate.

Our 11 student clubs are also part of the network of contacts for nurturing startups and business experience.  Among the clubs are the Cybersecurity Club, the Business Data Science Club, the Capital Market Club, the Strategy Club, the Real Estate Club, the Entrepreneurship Club, and more.

The connection with our alumni enables us to carry on helping each other, and we are pleased to be a central function in their lives well after they graduate and take their places in our rapidly and constantly changing world.

For good reason, the Faculty is ranked year after year among the top business schools in the world and our MBA programs hold the 13th spot worldwide for producing entrepreneurs who have raised capital for their startups.

We strive constantly to advance, with the aim of leading internationally is research and teaching, while integrating social and environmental values of innovation of excellence, and to establish ourselves among the leading universities in the world in research and ranking of our MBA programs.

The Coller School of Management is a community in which the first step is learning – but we continue hand in hand with our alumni for life.

Please keep in touch, bring up ideas, provide feedback and help me and the faculty members and staff to continue along the wonderful road that we are taking.
