Short Biography

Dr. Jacob Zahavi is a Professor of Management at Tel Aviv University and the Harry W. Reynolds Visiting International Professor at the Wharton School. He holds a Ph.D. in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, a M.Sc. in operations research from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and a BA in economics and statistics from the Hebrew University. Previously he held visiting positions at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Michigan, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Southern California, Cornell University and the University of California at Los Angeles. In 1999 he was the Alberto Vitale Visiting Professor of e-Commerce at the Wharton School. Dr. Zahavi taught a large variety of courses at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels, and published more than 40 papers in leading academic journals, as well as numerous articles, research reports and users guides.
