Dr. Michal Hodor is an Assistant Professor of Economics (Lecturer, Tenure-Track) at the Coller School of Management of Tel-Aviv University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in statistics and economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.A. in Economics as part of the joint research program of the Department of Economics at the Hebrew University and the School of Economics at Tel Aviv University.
Michal studies empirically themes in the field of decision making. Specifically, in the fields of Labor and Personnel Economics she investigates firm's and worker's behavior in an “on-demand” manufacturing environment, by which manufacturing and supplying of products happens immediately after receiving orders. In the field of Health Economics, her recent research about the effect of family spillovers on health care decision making, has been published in the Journal of Health Economics.
