The Behavioral Laboratory
Entry into the Research Management System
There are two ways of entering the research management system:
- Through the Behavioral Laboratory website.
- Through My Tau, where the Behavioral Laboratory appears as a virtual course. Selecting the course will bring the user directly to the research management system.
Participating in Laboratory Research Studies
Research studies are carried out in the Behavioral Laboratory in return for payment and/or to accumulate research hours (credits).
Participation in return for course-credits is designed for first-year undergraduate students in the Management and the Accounting programs as part of their academic requirements. Students are required to accumulate four hours of participation in research during their first year of studies (240 credit points).
Registering in the Credit Database
At the beginning of the academic year, first-year management and accounting students receive a notification to their university email address of their user name and password to the research management system. It is the responsibility of students who do not receive this notification to contact the person in charge of the Behavioral Laboratory in order to be registered in the research management system.
During the course of the year up-to-date information on the research studies being carried out in the laboratory is made available by:
- Requests sent by email
- Direct entry into the research management system
It is the responsibility of the students to enter the research management system to follow up on the number of research hours they have accumulated and to ensure that they will have accumulated a total of 240 points by the end of the academic year. Students are advised, moreover, to ensure at the end of each experiment that the credit points have been added to their accounts in the research management system.
Registering for the Paid Database
Students from all faculties, including first-year management students, are invited to register, against payment, for the experiment database. Each research study publishes in advance the recompense that can be obtained (monetary payment, lottery, vouchers, cinema tickets, and so on). Students may cancel their registration at any time. They may also contact Irit Nitzan, who is in charge of the laboratory, at any time, concerning any questions they may have.
To register for the paid database, students have to fill out the questionnaire at this link
