Living In Israel

Housing

  • The university has very limited on-campus housing opportunities for students in the Exchange program. The majority of students attending the program will need to find housing in Tel Aviv, Ramat Aviv or the surrounding area.
  • Depending on a variety of factors, you should be prepared to pay anywhere from 2500 NIS (living with roommates) to 4500 NIS (living alone) per month for a partially furnished apartment.
  • Apartment hunting in Tel Aviv can be quite time time-consuming the process can be lengthy. Students are advised to set aside 2-3 weeks specifically for apartment hunting before the program begins.
  • Students may want to consider a short-term rental or hostel for the first few days.
